This presentation offers a framework to explore automating various aspects of work in Japanese studies librarianship using AI tools such as ChatGPT and CoPilot. Progressively complex use cases will demonstrate immediate solutions requiring little to no technical expertise, and advance to more sophisticate solutions that highlight AI's limits in automation and problem solving.
The framework I propose is built on several interrelated pillars: verifiability; expedience; expertise, both in subject matter and technical prowess; and active vs. passive learning.

国際リンク集のためのEAJRS-NIHU連携活動について
EAJRS-NIHU Collaborative Activity for the Resource Guide for Japanese Studies and Humanities in Japan

人文機構（NIHU）で2015年から構築している、「国際リンク集」について紹介したいと思います。NIHUとEAJRSは新たにこのリンク集に関して共同の取り組みを始めようとしています。私たちは共同で編集グループを組織して、研究リソースの専門家によって継続的にこのリンク集の質の向上・維持に当たっていこうとしています。
リンク集は人文学や日本研究に関する、また日本や国外の研究機関の資料に関するURLを集めたディレクトリです。特徴は以下のようなものです。

「ヨミダス」は読売新聞の過去の1,800万件以上の記事を収録しているオンラインデータベースです。読売新聞は日本最大の発行部数を有する全国紙です。創刊は1874年（明治７年）11月で、150年の歴史がある新聞です。

National Museum of Japanese History (2024)

国立歴史民俗博物館（歴博）のメタ資料学研究センターは、令和４（２０２２）年度より新たなプロジェクト「日本歴史文化知の構築と歴史文化オープンサイエンス研究」を進めています。「日本歴史文化知」とは、「人文情報学的研究」と「地域歴史協働研究」の相互連携にもとづく研究プロセスと研究成果の総体を指します。「人文情報学的研究」では、地域における歴史資料（地域歴史資料）をはじめとする様々な歴史資料の多様なデータ構築とその高度なデータの研究を、歴史資料分析に即して進め、「地域歴史協働研究」では、そこから得られたデータを用い、地域の人々と協働して資料の継承を考え、地域歴史資料研究を推進します。

今回のプレゼンテーションでは、当プロジェクトの中核をなす情報基盤システム「khirin (Knowledgebase of HIstorical Resources in INstitutes)」の説明を中心に、広くデータ連携の可能性について説明します。
